Photographic abstraction can be anything, from intentionally moving the camera during exposure with random movements, or panning over a tripod; shooting through a glass of water; creating realistic scenes with drops of water on a CD, or glass surface; shooting in a glass bowl with oil and water; or light filtering from a candle holder. There is no limit to expression in photography.
